[ Ah, the new wave of people. Lust has been planning this since Envy told her what was going on a month ago, so, she's going to test the waters. How foolish are these people? How generous are these people? All of which will be sparked with a single sentence. ]

This is a mass text. Does anyone know where I am?

Perhaps I can hoard from another region, in that case.

Is there really a region big enough for this very accomplishment? I can't even fathom how they'll award someone who cures the common cold. [ .... with the world? ]

It's difficult to say. It's not as if Johto is known for its conventional means, in any case.

For all we know, here it's cured by sparkles and sunshine.

It certainly couldn't be ruled out.

[He knows this, but he responds this way regardless.]

I suppose unicorns are also the source of antibodies?

Just as rainbows cure disease.

And dandelions extend a person's lifespan by 500%.

Careful, now. Someone may see that and take it to heart!

[identity profile] usedrecover.livejournal.com 2011-11-24 11:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well, in this case natural selection would run its course but here it has no course to run.

Not so much "no course," but a different course entirely.

Or maybe reality just lost the map it was supposed to follow.

What a sight that would be.

How rude of you to not think of the blind, Nakura.

Right, right. How rude of me to be so neglectful.

[identity profile] usedrecover.livejournal.com 2011-11-29 09:51 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose you ask the blind people if they see things your way?

Or the tasteless for their favorite flavor of ice cream?

Tch, tch. Cruelty.

I suppose it's a good thing it's not my job to police the sensitivities of people.

[identity profile] usedrecover.livejournal.com 2011-11-30 09:28 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose it's a good thing that no one has the job of policing sensitivities. Being the police is a rather unrewarding job.

A point few would argue with, though I suppose in those situations, you'll always have your warriors of social justice anyway.

[identity profile] usedrecover.livejournal.com 2011-12-01 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's hardly their fault they think they can make a difference.

It's a shame that what they think they can do and what they'll accomplish are on entirely different levels then, isn't it?

[identity profile] usedrecover.livejournal.com 2011-12-03 09:26 am (UTC)(link)
Not unlike most people though, they're hardly any different. But, they can provide some interesting entertainment if things get particularly heated. The oppressor and the oppressed. It's normally such a one-sided battle, but, that doesn't detract from how interesting it is.

Of course not - I would never argue that, after all. Watching the struggle to follow through on a goal, however futile it may be, never really ceases to be interesting.

After all, that's what I love so much about humans!

[identity profile] usedrecover.livejournal.com 2011-12-05 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
I agree. It's almost endearing to think how much they think their opinions are worth, and how amazing the reaction is when they encounter someone who thinks about the exact opposite.

Hm, Nakura, if I may ask, what do you look like? I'd love to meet up for breakfast or lunch, textual encounters can spark something more enlivening for the people around us.

Hardly much different than most other humans...

Though I'm sure we can arrange something.

[He's just curious enough that he would definitely take her up on this offer.]
